A DOC field-supervision result can support later release from prison, but it does not backfill the county jail’s same-day exit time. Each agency record proves only its own custody.
Release labels also need care. Bond means pretrial detention ended under conditions, not that the case ended. Time served reflects court credit, though the judgment time and exit time may differ. Dismissal addresses a charge, but another case can still hold the person. Probation is court supervision. Parole and conditional release concern a state sentence and continued DOC supervision. MOVANS is the state’s current lookup and notification route for local-jail, DOC, and court events. Missouri changed the local-jail workflow in May 2026. Users must register or re-register through the current portal, and SMS and email replaced phone calls and VINELink-app alerts for this channel.
Choose the right event and verify the reporting agency. A release status means that agency ended its custody. It does not tell whether another hold was executed. If no local-jail result appears, the state warns that the jail may be offline. No result is not a release finding.
Getting Home After Franklin County Release
OATS Transit serves Franklin County and takes riders generally, but trips usually require 48 to 72 hours of advance scheduling and depend on availability. The provider does not advertise an on-demand jail-gate pickup on its Franklin County page.
